Rod Ferguson has had a passion for restoration and historical preservation his entire adult life. He has restored houses in Richmond for the past 25 years as well as his family's 18th century farm house in southern Virginia. He has worked for a real estate and auction house settling old estates, their antiques, while learning from local historians and preservationists. As a cum laude graduate of Wake Forest University, he earned his Masters in Liberal Studies with his thesis cataloging vernacular architecture in southern Virginia. As a member of the WIndow Preservation Alliance, Preservation Virginia, and others, he continues to hone his craft and build a team of passionate, dedicated craftsmen.
